Limiter Assembly System on Oil Pump Cover

The system is designed to assemble the Limiter and Spring Finger on Oil Pump Cover in a single type of product, 4 components/subsets are assembled. Cover handling, loading and unloading from thermoformed trays takes place by means of a 6-axis anthropomorphic robot – pay load 5 Kg, operating range 850 mm – fitted with specific gripper.

The limiter and spring finger components are fed to the equipment by vibrating feeders located along the perimeter of the machine. Specifically, the spring finger feeder is fitted on outfeed with a backlit glass top on which the parts arrive, for guided picking by a vision system. All the equipment is located on a structure in electro-welded tubes of appropriate section, integrated with vibration damper levelling feet.

The operator interface consists of a complete button panel with specific controls and indications.
