Contact feeding, stamping and insertion
ATS designs, builds and integrates on its machines contact feeding, stamping and insertion systems. The feeder supplies the die with the strip to be stamped in the required quantity and times and interfaces with the press which it works in sync with. The feeders may be mechanical and electronic. In addition to performing contact splitting from the strip, in some cases the dies may also form the contacts.
